If you just began your new life in Christ, it means that you are no longer tied to your past no matter how filthy it was. In fact, according to 2 Corinthians 5:17, that person dies in Christ and gives way to the new life by the spirit of God.
This means that this new life comes with an entirely new identity and a new set of privileges as well. You are forgiven, cleansed from sin, regenerated, and accepted as a child of God. (John 1:12). If we are God’s children then we are joint heirs with Christ in God’s family (Romans 8:17). This is the basis for the believer’s authority in Christ over every form of bondage and satanic oppression.
As new programs come with starter packs, whatever you do, never lose sight of these two: The Holy Spirit and The Word of God. Seeing that the Spirit of God is the source of life in Christ, it follows that He is also the sustainer thereof (Galatians 5:25). It is by Him that believers overcome the desires of the flesh and bear fruit. Stay in communion with Him. God’s word is the manual for your full transformation.
Lastly, as salvation is a gift, the new life is to be lived for the pleasure of the giver. Oh that your earnest cry would always be for God to ‘‘equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.’’ Hebrews 13:21.
We pray you will have a December full of testimonies in Jesus name.
